GP FOR SERVICES III 2 The Court made the following Order: The present Writ Petition (AT) is filed to declare the action of the respondents, in not considering and promoting the petitioner to the post of Principal though his name has been included in the panel for the year 2016-17 for promotion to the post of Principal in Government Polytechnics, while promoting his juniors, as illegal. Consequently, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his case for promotion to the post of Principal and to promote him as such with effect from the due date, along with all consequential benefits. 2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. Even on 07.11.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner. 3. Learned Government Pleader for Services-II, on the written instructions of the Director, Department of Technical Education, Mangalagiri, vide Lr.No.WP(AT)1087/2021, dated 24.12.2024, submitted that, the candidature of the petitioner was considered based on his Second Class in Master’s Degree in Commerce obtained from Nagarjuna University, and the petitioner was promoted to the post of Principal and posted at Government Polytechnic, Mydukur, vide G.O.Ms.No.32, Skills Development & Training (TE) Department, dated 05.12.2024. Accordingly, 3 on 23.12.2024 the petitioner reported for duty as Principal at Government Polytechnic, Mydukur. 4. Recording the submissions of learned Government Pleader for Services-II, the Writ Petition (AT) is closed. No order as to costs.
