The State of Rajasthan through The Principal Secretary, Secondary Education, Government Secretariat, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur 2. The Director, Secondary Education, Government of Rajasthan, Bikaner 3. Shri Sukhdev Singh, Head Master, Govt. Secondary School, Village and Post Gathara, Distt. Hanumangarh ----Respondents For Petitioner(s) : None present For Respondent(s) : Ms.Anjum Parveen Salawat for Ms.Namita Parihar, Dy.GC. JUSTICE ANOOP KUMAR DHAND Order 01/04/2025 1. By way of filing this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking direction against the respondents to include his name in the list for promotion by DPC to the post of Headmaster. It is also pleaded in the petition that person junior to the petitioner have been granted promotion, ignoring the seniority of the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that the last promotion has been granted to the person bearing seniority No.1213 under SC Category against the block years of 1994-95 while the seniority position of the petitioner is at Serial No.2107. [2025:RJ-JP:14681] (2 of 2) [CW-9873/2016] Counsel submits that one Sukhdev Singh was granted promotion, but subsequently, his promotion was cancelled. Counsel submits that under these circumstances, no cause of action survives with the petitioner to continue with this petition and the same is liable to the rejected on this count alone. 3. Considering the arguments put forward by the learned counsel for the respondent-State and looking to the fact that no person junior to the petitioner has been granted promotion to the post of Headmaster and the petitioner is much below in the list of seniority maintained by the respondents for promotion to the post of Headmaster. No case is made out in favour of the petitioner which warrants any interference of this Court. 5. Accordingly, the instant writ petition stands dismissed. Stay application and all pending application, if any, stand disposed of. (ANOOP KUMAR DHAND),J Aayush Sharma /200
