The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kunda P.S. Case No.29 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 120(B), 353, 385 & 387 of the I.P.C. and Sections 25(1-A), 26 &35 of the Arms Act and Sections 17(i)(ii) of the C.L.A. Act, pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M., Chatra. On 14.06.2024, the petitioner along with co-accused persons was arrested by Kunda police from a place near Naridari river. It is alleged that petitioner is a member of naxal organization. On search, firearm was recovered from his possession. Criminal antecedent report earlier called for, has been received. It appears that petitioner is accused in two other cases. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is accused in another case of similar nature. It was further submitted that petitioner has been made an accused only on suspicion. Considering the fact that firearm was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and he has got criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
