Heard Sri N Nandan, learned counsel appearing for petitioner and Sri Rahul Cariappa, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents. 3. The learned Additional Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that the gun licence of the petitioner has not stood cancelled, it is only a notice that has been issued seeking to show cause as to why it should not be cancelled. He would submit that the gun licence of the petitioner would not be cancelled. The said submission is placed on record. 4. The learned counsel for petitioner would now seek an ancillary prayer that his gun license should be renewed, which prayer cannot be considered before this Court, without a - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:14492 WP No. 15859 of 2023 representation or an application to that effect before the concerned Authority. 5. However, petitioner is at liberty to file an application seeking renewal of gun license, if he so desires and the concerned Authority shall consider the same, in accordance with law.
