(Oral) The petitioners seek quashing the order dated 17.12.2024 (Annexure P-10) passed by respondent No.5 with a further prayer to restrain the official respondents from conducting elections of Gram Panchayat of village Lakhmir ke Uttar, Block Mamdot, District Ferozepur. 2. At the very outset, a query has been put to the learned counsel for the petitioners as to whether the impugned order is appealable and if so, whether the said order was challenged in an appeal. 3. In reply to the said query, the learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submits that the aforesaid order is appealable under Section under Section 33 of the Punjab State Election Commission Act, 1994 (for short, 'the 1994 Act') but no such appeal has been preferred.
