Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Palkot P.S. Case No. 46/2024, for the alleged offence registered under sections U/s 310(4), 310 (5) of B.N.S., Sections 25 (1-B) (a)/ 26/35 of Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M., Gumla. On 04.10.2024, Palkot police on the basis of confidential information that some persons had assembled near Bangru Pahad and were making preparation for committing dacoity, raided the place of occurrence and arms and ammunitions were recovered from the possession of co- accused persons including the petitioner. It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody for more than three months and similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this Court earlier.
