Learned Advocate General, at the outset, would submit that in the changed circumstances, the respondents are going to consider the petitioner’s case as the senior most Additional Chief Engineer for promotion to the next higher post of Chief Engineer. 2. In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending and placing on record the statement of learned Advocate General, dispose off the petition with direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner as senior most Additional Chief Engineer.
