The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 291 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 310(1)/311 of BNS, 2023 and Section 27(2) of Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla. On 30.07.2024, robbery was committed in jewelry shop of the informant. The robbers looted jewelries and other articles from there. It appears that petitioner was identified in T.I. Parade. It further appears that bail applications of similarly situated co-accused persons have been rejected by this Court earlier. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected at this stage. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
