Present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, present petition is filed seeking following prayer: “(B) Your Lordship be pleased to issue appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondent’s authority for not talking any coercive steps against the present petitioner who is the Wine Shop Owner holding License of Daman, who is unnecessarily involved in cases of Gujarat Prohibition Act, 1949;” Having heard the learned APP and perusing the record and in view of the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Pradeep Nirankarnath Sharma vs. State of Gujarat & Ors. reported in 2025 INSC 350, no case is made out to pass any direction in exercise of powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
