The other two accused were earlier acquitted by the trial Court. Petitioner was declared a proclaimed offender on 17.10.2010 and, after a lapse of about 13 years, was apprehended and faced trial. He has also been acquitted by the trial Court vide judgment dated 12.12.2025.
