The Court made the following ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not paying his pension from the month of May, 2016 onwards and in not revising his Pension as per Revised Pay Scales, 2015 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles, 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to pay

2 the arrears of his pension and monthly pension in terms of RPS, 2015 with interest at the rate of 18% p.a.
During the course of hearing, Smt. B.V. Aparna Lakshmi, learned Standing Counsel, appearing on behalf of the 5th respondent/Gram Panchayat, produced a copy of the proceedings in R.C.No.C3/756/2024, dated 29.10.2024, issued by the Administrative Officer, Zilla Praja Parishad, Ongole, which reveals that the arrears of pension was paid to the petitioner and, after his demise, family pension and all arrears were paid to his wife viz., Smt. M. Sanjeevamma till the month of October, 2024 and as such no further orders are required to be passed in this Writ Petition.
Recording the aforesaid submission, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
Consequently, Miscellaneous Applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
