For the Respondents: Mr. Rahul Thakur, Advocate. __________________________________________________________ Sandeep Sharma, Judge (oral): By way of instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following main relief: “i. That the directions may kindly be issued to the respondent Corporation to release the arrears of the petitioner from his entitlement viz a viz from the date of his regularization i.e. w.e.f. 18.07.2019 along with interest @ 18% per annum till the date of its realization.” 2. Precisely, the grouse of the petitioner, as has been highlighted in the petition and further canvassed by Mr. H.R. Bhardwaj, learned counsel representing the petitioner is that petitioner’s outstanding arrear of pay amounting to ₹2,58,909/- is not being released for unjustifiable reasons, as a result thereof, he is unable to get his house repaired, which was damaged due to heavy rains. While referring to communication dated 09.10.2024 (Annexure P-2), Mr. Bhardwaj states that though having taken note of urgency, Regional Manager, HRTC, Baijnath, had requested Financial Adviser and Chief Accounts 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 Officer, HRTC, to release the input limit of ₹2,58,909/-, enabling it to release payment to the petitioner, but till date, nothing has been heard. 3. Mr. Rahul Thakur, learned counsel representing the respondents, fairly states that amount, if any, in terms of afore communication (Annexure P-2), if not already released, shall be released positively, within a period of six weeks. 4. In view of afore fair stand adopted by learned counsel representing the respondents, this Court sees no necessity to keep the present petition alive and accordingly the same is disposed of with the direction to respondents to ensure that amount, as indicated in communication dated 09.10.2024 (Annexure P-2), is paid/released, expeditiously, preferably, within a period of six weeks, failing which, petitioner would be entitled to interest at the rate of 6% per annum, from the date afore amount fell due.
