It is brought to our notice that in similar circumstances in LPA No.108 of 2025 titled as State of Himachal Pradesh & Others Vs. Alisha Chauhan alongwith connected matters, we had made directions to the effect that promotion, if any, made, shall be subject to the final decision of the litigation. The State in the said case, had passed the appointment/promotion order of the said writ petitioner(s) subject to final outcome of the aforesaid LPA. Counsel for the writ petitioner(s)/respondent submits that if the same relief is granted, he would not press the contempt petition. We have been informed that the presence of Chief Secretary has been made mandatory in the contempt petition. Accordingly, the State Government to issue the necessary conditional appointment/promotion order to the petitioner(s)/respondent.
