Both these Bail Applications arise out of same police case. Accordingly, both these Bail Applications are being disposed of by a common order. Heard the parties.
The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 291 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 310(1) and 311 of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 27(2) of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gumla.
On 30.07.2024, robbery was committed in Jewellery shop of the informant. The robbers looted jewelleries and other articles from there.
It was submitted that the petitioners are not named in the F.I.R. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered from their possession. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioners were put on T.I. Parade in which they were identified.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the T.I. Parade was held after one and half months from the date of remand.
Considering the fact that petitioners have been identified in the T.I. Parade, I am not inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, their prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage.
