------ For the Petitioners : Mr. Abhishek Singh, Advocate For the State : Mr. V. S. Sahay, A.P.P.
------ 03/24.01.2025
Heard the parties.
2. The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Narayanpur P.S. Case No. 33 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 304B/34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M., Jamtara.
3. The bail application of the petitioners was earlier rejected by this Court in B.A. No. 8448/2024 vide order dated 22.10.2024.
4. The petitioners happen to be father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased Dimple Kumari, who was strangulated to death in her matrimonial home within nine months of marriage. It is alleged that the deceased was tortured to enforce demand of dowry.
5.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submitted that charge has been framed in this case and the prosecution has not examined a single witness. It was further submitted that in the Panchayati it was held that the deceased will reside with her husband separately.
6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, their prayer for bail stands rejected once again.
