14/03.03.2025 Heard Mr. Manoj Sinha, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Amit Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the opposite party nos. 1 to 4. This application has been preferred by the petitioners for initiating a contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for willful and deliberate violation of the order dated 17.04.2023 passed by this court in W.P.(S) No. 383 of 2021. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the opposite parties being aggrieved with the order dated 17.04.2023 passed by this court in W.P.(S) No. 383 of 2021 had preferred a Letters Patent Appeal and on its dismissal, the opposite parties have moved before the Hon’ble Supreme Court in a Special Leave Petition. Mr. Amit Kumar Sinha, learned counsel for the opposite party nos. 1 to 4 has submitted that the S.L.P. has been dismissed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court consequent to which effect steps have been taken by the opposite parties in order to ensure that the petitioner no. 1 is granted compassionate appointment. He has further submitted that a Medical
-2- Board has already been constituted and the petitioner no. 1 has already appeared before the Medical Board and there is every possibility that within a period of 3 weeks, appointment letter shall be issued to the petitioner no. 1. In view of the specific assertions made by the learned counsel for the opposite party nos.
