PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: 2 ORDER The instant criminal petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short Cr.P.C.,) has been filed by the petitioner/accused, seeking quashment of the proceedings against him in Crime No.136 of 2021 of Ramapuram Police Station, YSR Kadapa District. 2. On 28.10.2021, this Court passed the following interim order:- “This Court is of the considered view that while allowing the investigation to go on to ascertain the truth or otherwise of the allegations in the F.I.R. and to find out the identity of the assailants in the said case, that there shall be a direction to the Investigation Officer not to take any coercive steps including arrest against the petitioner, till the identity of the assailant is established during the course of investigation. There shall be a direction to the Investigation Officer not to take any coercive steps including arrest against the petitioner, till the next date of hearing.” 3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has stated that the investigation is already completed by examining six witnesses and they are yet to file the charge sheet. 4. In view of the fact that this Court has already directed that the investigation shall go on but however no coercive steps including arrest shall be taken against the petitioner herein, the respondents are directed to file a charge sheet, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the Police are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioner. 3 5. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
