During the course of argument, it transpires that the awarded amount has been paid, inspite of the writ petition having been dismissed.

Perusal of grounds of appeal also would go on to show that the amount has been paid and therefore, counsel for the appellants now has pressed for the issue of interest.

Keeping in view the above, we are of the
2025:HHC:12244 - 2 - considered opinion that separate cause of action has now arisen to the appellants to seek their remedy(ies) in accordance with law.
4.
Resultantly the present appeal has been rendered infructuous, in view of the changed circumstances.
Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
