By this present writ petition, the petitioners are seeking a limited direction towards the Deputy Registrar to take necessary steps immediately to hand over the charge of the Society to the Official 4 Liquidator-respondent No.8/Manoj Kumar Pal as appointed vide order dated 08/07/2024 from the earlier Liquidator-Ritesh Tandi/respondent No.5. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the outgoing liquidator of the Usha Kiran Awasiya Parisar Co-operative Society, Bhatagaon, Raipur, C.G. is still continuing as a Liquidator in spite of the order dated 08/07/2024 issued by the Deputy Registrar, who has directed to hand over the charge of Society to respondent No.8-Manoj Kumar Pal. He submits that the respondent No.5 is involved in several illegalities and irregularities in the Society and even yesterday, disconnected the water supply of the Society members who are residing in the housing Society. 3. Learned counsel for the State/respondents submits that pursuance to the order dated 08/07/2024, one Manoj Kumar Pal has been appointed as an Official Liquidator of the Society in place of outgoing Liquidator-Ritesh Tandi/respondent No.5. He submits that within twenty four hour, the steps shall be taken to hand over the charge to Manoj Kumar Pal/respondent No.8, the appointed Liquidator vide order dated 08/07/2024 and the said Liquidator will also look into the issue of disconnection of the water supply to the members of the Society. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent/State, it is directed that the Deputy Registrar 5 shall take necessary steps to hand over the charge from respondent No.5 to respondent No.8 as a Official Liquidator of the Society and within twenty four hour, necessary steps shall be taken to continue the supply of water to the member and residents of the Usha Kiran Awasiya Parisar Co-operative Societies, immediately. 6. With the aforesaid observation(s) and direction(s), the writ petition is disposed. The petitioners are free to pursue their complaints made before the respondent Nos.1 to 3, which is still pending.
