THIS WRIT PETITION IS LISTED FOR ORDERS, THIS DAY, AN ORDER IS MADE AS UNDER:
ORAL ORDER Sri.P.K.Pradeep Kumar., counsel for the petitioners, Sri.Rajakumar.M., AGA for respondents 1, 3 and 4 and Sri.H.V.Devaraju., counsel for respondent No.2 have appeared in person.
2. Though the petition is listed today for orders regarding non-compliance of office objection, with consent of counsel for the respective parties, it is heard.
3. The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking following reliefs: (1) Issue a Writ of Certiorari to quash the Notification dated 04.03.2024 vide Annexure-A in
consideration of objections filed by the petitioners dated 26.12.2024 and 07.05.2025 vide Annexures-E and F.

(2) Issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the objections of the petitioners dated 26.12.2024 and 07.05.2025 vide Annexures-E and F.
4. Counsel for the respective parties urged several
contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care.
5. Suffice it to note that the KPTCL issued a Notification for laying cables of 66/11 KV from Aldur to Malandur, sub-division, covering the distance of 21.680 kilometers. The petitioners have grievance for laying the cables in their respective lands. Hence, they have made representations and have put forth their grievance. The petitioners contended that the representations are not considered as of today and hence, they are seeking an appropriate relief. The representations made by the petitioners are furnished along with the Writ Petition and they are at Annexures-E and F. The District Magistrate is hereby directed to treat the representations as Obstruction application one

under Section 16(1) of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885 and consider the same in accordance with the law. It is made clear that till the consideration of the obstruction application, the KPTCL shall not precipitate the matter in respect of the lands of the petitioners.
6. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is
disposed of. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
