Page No.# 2/2 The instant petition alleges deliberate and willful non-compliance of an order dated 24.01.2020 passed by this Court in WP(C)/3393/2017. Shri Chistie, learned counsel for the respondents has however submitted that during the pendency of this petition, the order in question has been complied with and in this connection, he has placed before this Court a communication dated 21.11.2022 issued by the Director of Secondary Education, Assam along with its enclosures which include the treasury challan. In view of the aforesaid development, this Court is of the opinion that the order in question appears to be substantially complied with and there would be no requirement to further continue with this contempt petition and accordingly, the same stands closed.
