This appeal is directed against the order dated 12.09.2024 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Seraikella in Misc. Criminal Application No.864/2024 in connection with Kuchai P.S. Case No.14/2019(S), corresponding to S.T. Case No.121/2024, whereby and wherein, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that the extremists had detonated improvised explosive devices which resulted in injuries suffered by several police personnel. This was followed by exchange of firing between the extremists and the police personnel and resultantly, 15 police personnel had suffered injuries. The appellant is not named in the First Information Report and appears to have been implicated on the confession of the co-accused persons. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant that several co-accused persons have been granted bail in B.A. Nos.5203/2020, 5341/2020 & 8327/2020 respectively. Regard being had to the manner of implication of the appellant, we, while setting aside the order dated 12.09.2024 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Seraikella in Misc. Criminal Application No.864/2024 in connection with Kuchai P.S. Case No.14/2019(S), corresponding to S.T. Case No.121/2024 being MCRA Case No.864/2024, direct that the appellant, above named, be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-I, Seraikella, in connection with Kuchai P.S. Case No.14/2019(S), corresponding to S.T. Case No.121/2024. This appeal is allowed. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.) (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS-Saurav/-
