In this writ petition, the relief sought for by the petitioner is that, this Court has to declare the land in question owned by the petitioner are deemed to be converted land for non-agricultural industrial purpose due to the respondent- Authorities having not been considered the applications made by the petitioner and not been informed the decision to the

petitioner within a stipulated time; inter alia sought for direction to the respondents to issue the conversion certificate in favour of the petitioner in respect of the land in question. 3. Heard Sri. C.K. Nandakumar, learned Senior Counsel on behalf of Sri. Raghuram Cadambi, appearing for the petitioner and Smt. Navya Shekhar, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents. 4. Sri. C.K. Nandakumar, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that the petitioner had made applications for conversion of the land in question for non-agricultural industrial purpose on 29th January, 2025, however, the respondent-Authorities have not informed about the decision within a period of four months. Therefore, learned Senior Counsel submitted that this Court shall declare that the land in question owned by the petitioner are deemed to be converted for non-agricultural industrial purpose under Section 95(5) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964. 5. Per contra, Smt. Navya Shekhar, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents submitted that the applications made by the petitioner, seeking

conversion of land in question have been rejected by endorsement issued by the respondent No.2. 6. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and taking into consideration the fact that the applications made by the petitioner have been rejected by the respondent No.2 as informed by the learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondent- Authorities, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to challenge the same in a manner known to law, if so advised. With this observation, keeping open all contentions of the petitioner, writ petition is disposed of. SD/- (E.S.INDIRESH) JUDGE
