2025:JHHC:16981 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI A.B.A. No.7593 of 2024 ------ 1. Mahendra Prasad @ Pappu, S/o Kishundev Prasad 2. Bijay Kumar @ Vijay Mondal, S/o Nageshwar Mandal … … Petitioners Versus 1. The State of Jharkhand. 2. Mritunjay Kumar, S/o Late Babulal Sah … … Opposite Parties ------ CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Rahul Ranjan, Advocate For the State : Mr. Sardhu Mahto, A.P.P. Mr. Ashutosh Pd. Joshi, Advocate ----- 06/ 24.06.2025 Heard the parties. 2. This anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been preferred by the petitioners apprehending their arrest in connection with P.C.R. Case No.11 of 2022, for offence under Section 420 IPC. The case is presently pending before the Court of learned J.M. 1st Class, Jamtara. 3. This case arises out of a complaint and the petitioners have approached this Court only after cognizance has been taken and summons have been issued. 4. In view of the above, I find that there is no apprehension of the petitioners being arrested. Thus, this application is absolutely misconceived. 5. The petitioners are directed to appear before the Court concerned, who will pass appropriate order as per the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court. 6. With the aforesaid observation, this Anticipatory Bail Application stands disposed of. (ANANDA SEN, J.) Prashant. Cp-3
