Heard Mr. Amar Nath Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The instant petition has been filed for the following relief. " issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2/ Deputy Director of Consolidation, Jaunpur to decide the Revision No.1146/2024-25, Computer Case No.202254143600003783, Akbal and other Vs. Abrar and others under Section 48(1) of U.P.C.H. Act relates to the village Kalyanpur Pargana Jafrabad, Tehsil Sadar, District Jaunpur within a stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that title revision filed by the petitioner is pending before the Respondent No.2- Deputy Director of Consolidation, Jaunpur since 2024. 4. This Court vide order dated 11.3.2025 directed the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Jaunpur to submit report in the matter. 5. In compliance of the order dated 11.03.2025, report sent by Deputy Director of Consolidation, Varanasi, Camp, Jaunpur is already on record of the writ petition. 6. Mr. Tarun Gaur, learned Standing Counsel on the basis of instruction submitted that next date fixed in the revision is 3.4.2025 and matter shall be decided on the next date. 7. Considering the facts mentioned in the report/instruction dated 18.03.2025, the instant writ petition is finally disposed of directing the respondent no.2/ Deputy Director of Consolidation, Jaunpur to decide the aforementioned revision expeditiously, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after affording opportunity of hearing to the parties.
