Yes 2 2025:HHC:9532 CWPIL No. 117 of 2024 Division No. III, HPPWD, Shimla-3, whereby it has been informed as under:- “In continuation of this office letter No. SD-III-WA-MDR-66- PedestrianPath/2024-25-22277 dated24.12.2024 (copy enclosed, it is intimated that 70 mtr. length path is required to be construct out of which 30 mtr. Stretch pertains to the private owner. The tender of whole 70 mrt. stretch has been called and awarded to the contractor and accordingly work of the path is in progress in first 40 mtr. portion which belongs to Govt. land. The work is in full swing and shall be completed by 30th April, 2025 in 40 mtr. portion and if the land owner does not object in his portion same shall also be taken in hand simultaneously. It is therefore requested that the Hon’ble High Court may please be apprised accordingly in the matter please.” 2. Learned counsel for respondent No. 4-Corporation has also placed on record communication dated 3.4.2025 received from Executive Engineer (R&B) M.C. Shimla alongwith copy of tender document dated 17.1.2025 issued to the Government Contractor indicating that time limit for completion of work is one month which to be reckoned from the 15th day of issue of the letter or actual date of start of work whichever is earlier. 3. In view of above, nothing survives to be adjudicated in this petition and this petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents, especially HPSEB as well as Municipal Corporation to ensure completion of work as, undertaken, by 30th April, 2025. 3 2025:HHC:9532 CWPIL No. 117 of 2024 4.
