Learned Counsel for respondent No. 3 apprises the Court that reply to the writ petition has been filed on behalf of respondent No. 3. Registry is directed to place the same on record. He has handed over his copy of reply for the perusal of the Court. A perusal thereof demonstrates that work of better and efficient management of surplus rain water at Shamshan Ghat, Billanwali has been awarded to M/s Ravinder Kumar on 22.07.2025 and the contractor has been granted two months time to complete the work.

It is further mentioned in the reply that outer drains of HPSIDC have been cleaned by MC Baddi in July, 2025 so that there is no clogging in the outer drains.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner, on the other hand, has shown certain photographs to demonstrate that there is water clogging in the area, including the premises of the petitioners.

Taking into consideration these developments, these proceedings are closed but with the observation that respondent No. 3 will ensure that the contractor will do the needful within a period of two months in terms of the contract. However, it is observed that in case needful is not done within the stipulated period by the Authorities concerned, then the petitioner is at liberty to file appropriate application in this petition itself, seeking revival of these proceedings. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand
disposed of.
