Mr. Manav Poddar, learned A.C to A.A.G-I appearing on behalf of the O.P.No.2, while referring to the order dated 31.12.2024 passed by the said opposite party in Land Acquisition Case No. 06/2018-2019 (part of Annexure-C series to the show cause affidavit dated 25.02.2025), submits that in compliance of the aforesaid order of this Court, the petitioners’ claim for compensation in lieu of acquisition of the land in question has been considered and the same has been rejected. 3. Considering the said submission, there is no need to further proceed with the present matter. 4. The contempt proceeding as against the O.P.No.2 is dropped. 5. The present contempt application stands disposed of. 6. The petitioners are however at liberty to take appropriate recourse as available under law against the order dated 31.12.2024 passed by the O.P.No.2. Satish/- (RAJESH SHANKAR, J)
