By means of this petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution, petitioner wants expeditious disposal of pending Rent Appeal filed under Section 25 of the Uttar Pradesh Regulation of Urban Premises Tenancy Act, 2021. It is submitted that the opposite party has put in appearance in the rent case and case is ready for final disposal. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the appellate authority to decide the rent appeal within the statutory period of 60 days as prescribed under Section 25(2) of the Act, 2021 from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
