Mr. Jatinder Choudhary, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.1-Power Grid Corporation India Ltd. has placed on record undertaking by way of an affidavit dated 07.04.2025. A perusal whereof reveals that the petitioner has already received an amount of ₹14,47,004/- which includes compensation amounting to ₹3,70,800/- for land coming under tower location 231 old/238 new; ₹8,48,366/- as compensation for fruit bearing trees, ₹3,08,725/- as compensation for non-fruit bearing trees and ₹18,113/- as compensation for crops and agreed to receive ₹6,67,664.00/- towards House Compensation constituting a full and final settlement of all claims, arising from or related to the transmission line project on my land as per the terms agreed upon. 2. In the light of the aforesaid consideration of the above settlement and after receiving the remaining amount, the petitioner has agreed to withdraw the Sr. No. 17 2 WP(C) No.753/2023 instant petition. Since, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and the compensation has been received, no fruitful purpose will be achieved to keep this writ petition alive. 3.
