The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent No. 2, the Tehsildar, Tehsil Sadar, District Ballia, to decide Case No. 16790 of 2024 (Computerized Case No. T202415090316790) [Jai Ram Vs. Arvind], under Section 34/35 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, within a stipulated time period. Attention of the Court has been drawn to the order sheet of the case, a copy whereof has been appended to the writ petition, to point out that although several dates have been fixed, but the matter has been adjourned for some reason or the other and the delay in disposal of the case is causing undue hardship to the petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer for expediting the proceedings is made. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-Respondent(s) has no objection to the prayer for expediting the proceedings. Having regard to the aforementioned facts and circumstances and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the court concerned would make an endeavor to decide the aforesaid case, in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of the instant order, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, provided there is no other legal impediment.
