The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Nawa Bazar P.S. Case No. 18/2023 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 07/2023, for the offences registered under Sections 414/34 of the I.P.C. and Sections 20 & 22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Palamau. 3. On 25.02.2023, Nawa Bazar police, on the basis of confidential information that poppy is being cultivated in the village Sohdagkala, destructed the poppy cultivation. 4. It was submitted that no independent witness has come forward to state that the land where poppy was being cultivated, belonged to these petitioners and co-accused persons. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court. 5. Learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioners. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Palamau in connection with Nawa Bazar P.S.
