The petitioner has filed the present petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to issue a writ in the nature of Certiorari, for quashing the order dated 25.01.2001 (Annexure P-15) passed by the respondent-authorities, whereby the seniority of the petitioner was wrongly fixed. 2. Learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has expired on 12.01.2022, whereas respondent No.3 has also expired on 20.02.2021 and no cause of action survives in the present petition. 3. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, nothing survives in the present petition and the petition is accordingly dismissed.
