Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. F.I.R. in Crime No.100/2025 was registered by Anekal Police Station, Bangalore Rural District, against Kiran and others for the aforesaid offences on the basis of first information dated 18.04.2025 received from Smt. Saraswathamma, who is mother of the deceased Praveen Kumar. 4. Apprehending arrest petitioner had filed Crl.Misc.No.5184/2025 before the jurisdictional Sessions Court - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:20976 CRL.P No. 7849 of 2025 which was rejected on 05.05.2025. Therefore, he is before this Court. 5. In the first information which is submitted by the mother of the deceased, she has stated that on 17.04.2025 accused persons named in the FIR had assaulted Praveen Kumar and after recording the said incident, they had circulated the same in the social media. Subsequently, Praveen Kumar had committed suicide by hanging himself leaving behind a video recorded by him before he committed suicide and in the said video he allegedly had mentioned that accused persons named in the FIR are the cause for his death. Accused No.1 has been granted regular bail by this Court in Crl.P.No.7177/2025 disposed of 10.06.2025 and accused No.8 has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.P.No.7093/2025, disposed of on 02.06.2025. 6. Material on record would go to show that as against accused Nos. 2, 5, 6 and 7 the further proceedings in the present case has been stayed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Crl.P.No.6068/2025 and in Crl.P.No.7471/2025. The - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:20976 CRL.P No. 7849 of 2025 petitioner has undertaken to co-operate with the Police for the purpose of investigation. Under the circumstances, I am of the opinion that prayer made by the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail needs to be answered affirmatively. 7. Accordingly, the following. O R D E R The Criminal Petition is allowed. The Respondent - Police or any other police in the State of Karnataka are directed to release the petitioner in Crime No.100/2025 registered by Anekal Police Station, Bengaluru Rural District, for the offences punishable under Section 108 r/w Section 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, subject to the following conditions: a. The Petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer within 15 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (one lakh only) with two sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer. b. Petitioner shall regularly appear before the Trial Court without fail unless exempted by the Trial Court for valid reasons. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:20976 CRL.P No. 7849 of 2025 c. Petitioner shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses and he shall co-operate with the police for investigation and appear before them whenever called upon. d.
