The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bagodar P.S. Case No. 98 of 2022, S.T. Case No.311 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 385, 386, 504, 506 & 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Sri Abhinandan Pandey, learned Principal Sessions Judge, Giridih. On 28.06.2022 at about 6:30 p.m, three unknown persons came to the Dhaba of the informant and on pistol point, demanded rangdari. They also fired on him. However, he had a providential escape. It was submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R. nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. Learned A.P.P on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner has confessed his guilt. Considering the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Abhinandan Pandey, learned Principal Sessions Judge, Giridih, in connection with Bagodar P.S.
