Notice. Mr. Dheeraj K. Vashisht, learned Standing Counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents.

Petitioner’s grievance is that out of total arrears due to him amounting to Rs.12,05,687/-, an amount of Rs.3,05,086/- has not been paid to him.

At this stage,
learned counsel for the respondent-Corporation has placed on record instructions memo dated 03.01.2025 and submits that out of balance amount of Rs.3,05,086/-, the respondent-Corporation has

paid an amount of Rs.1,50,000/- to the petitioner on
03.01.2025.
Learned counsel for the petitioner acknowledges the above fact. Learned counsel for the respondents further submits that the balance amount will be paid to the petitioner within six weeks.

In view of the above submission made by
learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is
disposed of. It is made clear that in case the balance amount is not paid to the petitioner within the aforesaid period, the respondents shall be liable to pay interest on the balance amount @ 6% per annum from the due date till the actual date of payment.
Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
