The application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Jitendra Chauhan who is apprehending his arrest in Page No.# 2/2 connection with Lanka P. S. Case No. 165/2025 under Sections 61(1)/336(3)/337/3(5) of the BNS, 2023. The principal allegation against the petitioner is that he is involved in arranging fake Permanent Residence Certificates for aspiring candidates, who wanted to obtain employment in Paramilitary Forces under the quota meant for the candidates of Assam in exchange of money. On perusal of the Case Diary, I find sufficient material against the present petitioner warranting his custodial interrogation. Accordingly, the prayer for pre- arrest bail stands rejected.
