ORAL JUDGMENT (PER: HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE MR. JUSTICE N. V. ANJARIA)
As back as on 20.01.2025, the following order was passed,
"Following was the direction in the order dated 22.04.2024, extracted from paragraph 4,
"Accordingly, the writ petition stands
disposed of while directing the second respondent-Tahsildar, Anekal Taluk, to update the revenue records having regard to the acquisition of title by the petitioner in terms of registered sale deed dated

29.09.2023, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
2. It is in respect of the above direction that non- compliance was alleged and this contempt petition was filed.
3. Today, learned Additional Government Advocate Smt.Pramodini Kishan states that the directions are complied with and the revenue record is updated in light and in accordance with the sale deed concerned. The affidavit of compliance figures on record of the proceedings. The updating of the revenue record is also communicated to the complainant.
4. Learned advocate for the complainant is not present.
5. In order to give a chance to confirm the compliance, stand over to 22.01.2025. To be listed at 2.30 p.m."
2. Thus, it was noted that the order of learned Single Judge was complied with by updating the revenue records in light of the sale deed concerned and the updating of the revenue records was also communicated to the complainant, as stated by learned Additional Government Advocate. Thereafter, the contempt petition was adjourned from time to time awaiting the presence of counsel for the complainant.

3. On 06.02.2025, order was again passed in which the absence of counsel for the complainant was noted and the petition was
directed to be listed on
11.02.2025. Today also, counsel for the complainant is absent.
4. In view of the observations made in the order dated 20.01.2025, the contempt petition does not survive.
5. It is accordingly disposed of. In case of genuine difficulty, the complainant shall have liberty to revive the contempt petition after filing a note before the Registry.
