The petitioners have prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to pay compensation to them for having constructed a road over part of their land comprising of Gata No.377 area 0.2020 Hectare, village Battaha, Mauza Sabhad, Tehsil Bidhuna, District Auraiya. 2. Learned standing counsel has placed on record the instructions received from the State-respondents, in which, interalia, the stand taken is that the road has been constructed over an existing kutcha road and that the land of the petitioners has not been utilized. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners, in view of the said stand, prays for withdrawal of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to apply for demarcation of their holding. 4.
