ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the challenging the action of the Respondent No.4 in issuing notices dated 23.07.2025 and coercing the petitioners to appear before him in connection with FIR No.378 OF 2023 on the file of C.K.Dinne Police Station, YSR District is as per se illegal, manifestly arbitrary, besides being opposed to the very spirit and object of Justice and Fair-play and Fundamental Rights guaranteed under Articles 14, 19, 20 and 21 of the Constitution of India.”
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, in spite of grant of stay of all further proceedings in FIR No.378 of 2023 on the file of C.K.Dinne Police Station, YSR District by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in Crl.P.No.6946 of 2025, dated 07.07.2025, the Police are calling the Petitioners to the Police Station.
3. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, due to lack of knowledge of the stay
order, the Police issued notices to the Petitioners.
4. Considering the submissions made and in view of the stay granted by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Police not to call the Petitioners to the Police Station. There shall be no order as to costs.
