Subsequently, the 2nd respondent issued proceedings vide Memo.No.2711/A2/2017, dated 20.07.2017, instructing the 3rd respondent to take necessary steps. 2. In reply, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s pay is protected, and thus, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for further adjudication and the Writ Petition (AT) has become infructuous. 3. In view of the above, the Writ Petition (AT) is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
