The grievances of the petitioner raised in this writ petition were noticed as under in the order dated 11.12.2024:-
“ Notice. Ms. Leena Guleria, learned Deputy Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner’s suspension order dated 03.08.2024 is still being continued, even though in accordance with the law laid down in AIR 2010 SC 336 (Union of India and others Versus Dipak Mali), the suspension order shall not be valid after a period of ninety days unless it is extended after review for a further period before expiry of ninety days. Learned Senior Counsel also places reliance upon the decisions rendered in CWP No.2171 of 2020 (Suneel Dutt Versus The State of H.P. and others), decided on 13.07.2020 and CWP 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 No.2168 of 2020 (Gauri Shankar Versus State of H.P. and others), decided on 04.09.2020. Further grievance of the petitioner is that his bank account has been frozen by the respondents in violation of the principles of natural justice. 3. Let learned Deputy Advocate General to have instructions/file reply in the matter. 4. List on 30.12.2024. CMP No.24190 of 2024 The application is disposed of with a direction to the applicant/petitioner to file English translation of the annexures in issue by the next date of hearing.”

On 04.03.2025, learned Deputy Advocate General placed on record an office order dated 14.02.2025 passed by the Additional District Magistrate, District Sirmour, revoking suspension of the petitioner with immediate effect. The order redressed the first grievance of the petitioner. With respect to petitioner’s second and remaining grievance concerning de-freezing of his bank accounts, learned Deputy Advocate General today has placed on record office instructions dated 18.03.2025 from Additional Superintendent of Police, SV&ACB, Nahan, District Sirmaur.
As per these instructions, vide letter No. 588 dated 18.03.2025 from State Vigilance & Anti Corruption Bureau, Nahan, District Sirmaur, correspondence has been made with different banks to de-freeze petitioner’s freezed accounts. A copy of letter dated 18.03.2025 addressed by the Additional Superintendent of Police SV&ACB Nahan has also been placed on record. 3
3. Since the respondents have now redressed the grievances of the petitioner, therefore, this writ petition stand disposed of, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any. Jyotsna Rewal Dua
