Mr. Imrul Hassan ORDER The case is taken up before the National Lok Adalat. The appellant, Oriental Insurance Company Limited, is represented by its duly authorized officials, namely, Mr. R. K. K. Sinha, Regional Manager, and R. C. Pathak, Manager. The claimant, namely, Abdul Kadar, is present in person along with his engaged counsel, Mr. M. Khan. It is submitted that the total awarded amount is Rs. 20,281/- (Rupees twenty thousand two hundred eighty one) only. After negotiation, both the Page No.# 4/4 parties have mutually agreed to settle the matter for a sum of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only as a full and final settlement of the claim. Accordingly, the appellant/Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. is hereby directed to deposit the amount of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) only before the Registry of this Court within 1 (one) month from the date of the order and the claimant, namely, Abdul Kadar, is permitted to withdraw the same on being proper verification and identification. Statutory deposit, if any, shall be returned to the Insurance Company. The appeal stands disposed of in terms above. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
