THIS WRIT PETITION IS LISTED FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN 'B' GROUP, THIS DAY, AN ORDER IS MADE AS UNDER: ORAL ORDER Sri.B.Ramesh., counsel for the petitioner and Sri.Mahantesh Shettar., AGA for respondent No.1 have appeared in person. 2. The Notices vide Annexures N1 and N2 are called into question in this Writ Petition on several grounds as setout in the Memorandum of Writ Petition. 3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 4. The second respondent alleged that she has some family dispute with the petitioner and accordingly she appears to have filed a complaint before the first respondent - Police. Taking note of the same, the notices were issued to the petitioner vide Annexures-N1 and N2. Apparently, the complaint relates to a alleged family dispute. Needless to say, - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:7372 WP No. 17715 of 2021 the Police Authority cannot interfere in a family dispute/ civil matters. Hence, the action on the part of the Police Authority cannot be sustained. Therefore, this Court deems it proper to quash the notices. 5. The Writ of Certiorari is ordered.
