2. This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, have been filed by the petitioners, namely, 1. Sahar Uddin Laskar @ Chipula Barbhuiya, 2. Parul Islam Laskar seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Dholai P.S Case No.44/2025, under Section 310(2) of the BNS, 2023.
3. The allegation against the present petitioners are that they along with co- accused persons accosted the informant while he was returning to Mizoram after selling his ginger at Bhaga Bazar and the accused persons looted Rs. 13,00,000/- from him which was sale price for the ginger.
4. On perusal of the case diary their appears to be sufficient incriminating materials against the accused persons and it is further submitted by learned Addl. P.P. that their custodial interrogation is necessary for recovery of the looted money.
5. Having regard to the above, the prayer for pre-arrest bail is rejected.
6. Accordingly, the bail petition stands dismissed.
7. Send back the case diary.
