A case has been registered against the Petitioners for the Offence under section 20(b)(ii)(B) read+with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and ® psychotropic Substances Act. 3. Case of the Prosecution, in brief, iS that On 18.12.2024 at about 3.30 pm, on receipt Of Credible infOrmatl'On regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, S.I of Police, along with staff, reached Durga temple, near katcha road of Chaparayivalasa village and found Al to A4 in suspicious Circumstances. On enquiry, they dI-SCIOSed their identity particulars and police seized 8.200 kgs of ganJ'a from their possession. They were arrested and got remanded to judicial custody. 4. Heard. Perused the record. a 5. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that major part of the investigation is completed except filing of charge sheet. 6. Aperusal Of the material aVailableon record goes to showthatthe contraband that was allegedly seized from the possession of the ` _...---- 2 petitioners is 8.200 kgs of ganja, which is non-commercl'al quantity. The petitioners were arrested on 18.12.2024 and since then, the petitl-oners have been in judjcjal remand. lt appears that major part of the l'nvestigation has been completed except filI'ng Of Charge sheet. 7. ln view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is I'nCIined to grant bail to the petl®tjoners herein, on the following conditions. (i) The petitioners/Al to A4 herein shall be released on their executing a personal bond for Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) each with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magl'strate of Fl-rst Class, Salur,- (ilo) On release, the petI-tiOnerS Shall appear before the station House Officer concerned once in a week i.e. on every sunday between 10.00 a.m. and o5.00 p.m., till filing of charge sheet. 8.
