JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR MEDHI ORDER 13.12.2025 This is an appeal filed by the appellant-claimant against the judgment and award dated 20.03.2017 passed by the Learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Biswanath Chariali, Sonitpur in MAC Case No. 15/2014 praying for enhancement of the awarded amount. The awarded amount has already been satisfied. 2. Ms. Hena Haflongbar, Assistant Manager of the New India Assurance Company Ltd. (Insurance Company) and the claimant– Mrs. Manju Deka along Page No.# 3/3 with her learned counsel, Shri BR Das are present today i.e., 13.12.2025 in the National Lok Adalat. 3. The parties present before this Court jointly submit that the matter has been settled between the parties and an additional amount of Rs.4,60,000/- has been agreed upon. 4. In view of the above, the appeal stands closed with a direction that the Insurance Company shall deposit the said amount of Rs.4,60,000/-, which is being the full and final settlement. 5. As requested, the same be deposited directly to the bank account of the claimant, the particulars of which are provided below, within a period of 45 days from today: Account Holder: Ms. Manju Deka Bank & Branch: SBI, Mission Charali, Tezpur Account Number: 11343383887 IFSC: SBIN0005783 6.
