Heard the learned counsel Sri.G.S.Naveen Kumar for Sri.Mukkannappa.S.B., learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel Sri.Raghavendra G. Gayatri for respondents. Perused the writ petition papers. 3. The petitioner is before this Court with the following prayers: “Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the request of the petitioner for grant of compassionate allowance/pension under Rule 217 of Karnataka Civil Services Rules as requested by the petitioner vide representation dated 27.11.2019 Annexure-D - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:4577 WP No. 14593 of 2021 to the writ petition forthwith, under the facts and circumstances o the case.” 4. The statement of objections filed on behalf of the respondents indicates the consideration of petitioner’s prayer and issuing communication dated 28.02.2020 (Annexure-R4), rejecting his representation. 5.
