The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 7.11.2024 passed by this Court in Writ - A No. 16207 of 2025. In pursuance to the previous order passed by this Court, the Standing Counsel has filed the affidavit of the opposite party disclosing that an order dated 12.4.2024 has been passed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Headquarters, Commissionerate, Varanasi issuing an appointment letter to the applicant. The counsel for the applicant states that the nature of the appointment as referred in the order dated 12.4.2024 is not in accordance with law. The claim of the applicant requires adjudication on merits for which he has the remedy to approach the appropriate forum. As the order passed by the Writ Court has been complied by the opposite party, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt application.
