Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge Following order was passed in the matter on 06.01.2025:- “Notice. Mr. Raman Jamalta, learned Standing Counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though the respondents have paid the petitioners Gratuity and Leave Encashment in terms of the decision rendered in CWP No.537 of 2024 (Paras Ram & Ors. Vs. HRTC & Anr.), decided on 31.05.2024, however, dearness allowance is yet to be paid to him. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the respondents will clear its liability of paying the dearness allowance to the petitioners at applicable rates within four weeks. List thereafter.” 2. Pursuant to the following order, learned counsel for the respondents has placed on record certain documents 1Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Yes and, on that basis, submits that the remaining dearness allowance payable to petitioners No. 1 and 2 has been paid by the respondents under office communication dated 23.04.2025, and further, that no dearness allowance remains to be paid to petitioners No. 3 and 4. 3. In view of the above, the present proceedings are closed. However, the petitioners shall be at liberty to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law for redressal of any surviving grievances, if any.
